The Authors
Madeleine & Colin Windsor have written this book as a first
hand account of their Journey across the UK sharing about the
scenery they saw and as committed Christians the reason they
undertook the venture. The Christian message was shared up
to five million people through radio stations, magazines, journals,
TV and on the streets from the Outer Hebrides in Scotland to
Penzance in Cornwall and into London from where the Journey
started. The writers have been involved with Christian evangelism
since the 1980's based in the London area and had a passion to
go further than their immediate locality. Between them they have
undertaken prison & hospital work, chatting to prisoners and
patients, schools work, drop in centres for the homeless, providing
accommodation for the homeless, dance in worship, the elderly,
street evangelism.

Marilyn Baker Ministries (MBM) is a dynamic itinerant ministry of
music, teaching and prayer. It began in the early 1980’s with
singer/songwriter Marilyn Baker releasing albums which drew
people into God’s healing presence.
Churches started inviting her to do evangelistic and encouragement
concerts and Marilyn, who has been blind almost from birth,
soon realised the tremendous potential to touch people’s lives
in a deep way.
At God’s leading she gave up her job as a music teacher and started
ministering fulltime. Soon Marilyn was travelling extensively in
Britain and many parts of the world. A familiar performer at
Spring Harvest, Filey and other conferences, Marilyn quickly
became Britain’s top selling female gospel singer.
In 1986 Marilyn was joined by Tracy Williamson, whose gifts in
speaking and prophecy enriched the music with a new dimension.
Marilyn’s cd’s and Tracy’s books enable them to reach an even
wider audience.
The work of Marilyn Baker Ministries has grown. As well as concerts,
Marilyn and Tracy undertake church encouragement weekends,
workshops and conferences. They minister to large or small groups
or in elderly peoples’ homes and prisons. However they do it, the
focus of the ministry remains the same, to bring people and churches into the
healing and empowering presence of God through music, teaching and prayer.
The DVD includes interviews with representatives
of the Salvation Army,Pentecost Festival, Mission in
Hounslow Trust, TORCH, Prospects and Through the Roof.
