    Fundraising
    The Mission in Hounslow Trust invites and receives donations from grant-making trusts,
    UK and local companies, churches, Christian organisations and individuals. Gifts in kind
    have been kindly given by people in the community.


    Mayor's Appeal
    Mission in Hounslow Trust was the named charity in 2000/2001 by the former mayor, Connie Sandhu. Madeleine Windsor, the Trust's secretary, received two cheques from the former mayor of Hounslow: one for the work of the 'Feed the Hungry Hearts' drop in centre and the other for the work amongst the homeless people in Hounslow.


    John Lewis Store Kingston
    The John Lewis Store in Kingston has kindly made donations over the past few years of two turkeys for our Christmas project, cash and refrigerators to support our homeless project. We were able to go to the Store recently and select four new fridges and they were delivered within days. The photograph was taken outside the Kingston Store with Madeleine Windsor, secretary to the Mission in Hounslow Trust and Gillian Chapman who is secretary to the charities committee. The decisions to donate have been made by the staff who make up the committee.



    Plane Handling Ltd Feltham
    Plane Handling Ltd Feltham recently supported the Mission in Hounslow Trust as to its work within the local community for reaching out to those in need. Madeleine & Colin Windsor were presented a cheque outside a Parish Centre in Hounslow where the Christmas Day Dinner took place. The Christmas Day Dinner was the only dinner in the borough of Hounslow in 2005.


    Shopping Mall Store Donates Muffins
    The Mission in Hounslow Trust is receiving free muffins, baguettes and pastries for their new drop-in centre in the Hounslow Salvation Army Citadel. The proprietors of BB's Muffin shop in the Treaty Centre approached the trust after several customers mentioned the Olive Branch drop-in centre for those in need and have decided to donate the end of day food. Pictured is Madeleine Windsor, the trust secretary, receiving some tasty pastries from Zahed Jivraj at the Treaty Centre in Hounslow.


    Help the Aged and ASDA Store Feltham joined forces with the Hounslow Mission Trust
    Help the Aged and ASDA Store Feltham joined forces with the Hounslow Mission Trust to make this Christmas a happier event. This was part of UK initiative. Madeliene Windsor, secretary of the Mission in Hounslow Trust, collected presents at the Feltham ASDA Store for their 'Olive Branch' project that provided a Christmas Dinner last Saturday for those in need including the elderly. The 'Olive Branch' centre normally meets every Saturday evening throughout the year at the Hounslow Salvation Army Church. Many people come along including the homeless, hungry, lonely and confused and showers facilities, hot food, companionship and advice are available.     GlazoSmithKline names 'Olive Branch' charity of the year 2008
    GlazoSmithKline, based in the Hounslow Borough, has named the 'Olive Branch' drop in centre as their charity of the year (2008) alongside another project within the borough. GlazoSmithKline has already donated toiletries and towels and Easter Eggs and Jane Nixon a representative of the Companies charity team has presented cheques to further the centre's work for those in need.







    GlaxoSmithKlinehave expressed that they would like to be kept updated as the work of the 'Olive Branch' and if possible find some GlaxoSmithKline staff who would like to help in a practical way to assist in the setting up of tables before the project commences.

    Green School for Girls Isleworth donates 2008 Harvest Festival Service food to 'Olive Branch'

    Harvest Festival Service 2009 food to 'Olive Branch'
    Madeleine & Colin Windsor, representatives of the Mission in Hounslow Trust, received gifts of food, placed within five beautifully decorated boxes, from the Green School for Girls in Isleworth, as part of their Harvest Festival Service. The Service that took place in the gymnasium was attended by over two hundred year 7 & 8 pupils, alongside local church leaders and school staff. The picture was taken of the food at a recent Saturday evening at the Hounslow Salvation Army Citadel with Madeleine Windsor, secretary of the Trust, and some of the visitors to the drop in centre.

    Gumley House Convent School Isleworth Charity Day is a success as to providing a financial donation for the Mission in Hounslow 'Olive Branch'
    St Reynolds House 'Year Nine' students nominated Mission in Hounslow Trust as their charity of the year 2009 as to their work with the homeless at the Hounslow Salavation Army Church on Saturday evenings. All the School got involved with this 'celebrity competition' and cakes, sweets and handmade Valentine gifts and cards were sold among the students.
